Where the hell is God?

Quote:  Where the hell is God when you need God the most???!!!? — exasperated quote from anyone in trouble

Perspective:  How many times have you asked this question when you're in the deepest, darkest hole of life? Timing is essential when you ask this question. Did you scream this statement at 4:15 pm when you were laid off at 4 pm? How about at 8:07 when you missed the 8:05 train? Or your children broke your glasses? Or you went to the ATM and you have $16 in your account? There are many other situations large or small that can drive you to suspect HP’s existence.

Stay angry is one solution. Keep seeped in resentment is another. Wait, what are either one of those solutions going to do in the long run?  True. Anger and resentments won’t work -- plus they are exhausting!  What’s worse they are only exhausting for YOU!

Another view: feel that feeling of anger and/or resentment and put a kitchen timer on it.  In other words, feel those feelings but realize they have a shelf life. Then move from there. Attitude is key to break out of the exasperation. Believe there is more than this one moment; know that this is temporary. See that the resolution is not only around the corner but within reach. Stay in that space of understanding and sense that HP is with you – no matter what!
